Our founder
Awurama Kena-Asiedu is the creative lead of Ramafrique. She is a determined entrepreneur, working hard for success in her field and beyond.
She graduated the University of Ghana,Legon with a degree in Economics and Statistics. However after a failed entry into the corporate work space, she dedicated all her time and energy into her business . Her passion for entrepreneurship and growth started in the early part of her campus life, where she started retailing and wrapping up old accesories with African prints.
She is an alumna of Wesley girls high school and a staunch member of Global Shaper. She volunteers and supports the sustainable development goals through the various initiatives the brand engages
To be a master in her fashion and upcycling fields, she pursued a 1 year fashion course , focusing keenly on bag production and Environmental Ethics and Management course in the Technical institute of Denmark respectively
